What We Accept

This list has not changed since we opened. We do not anticipate it changing.

Frequently Submitted Documents

We do not track what is submitted. The following list is based on what people ask us if we accept, which implies they have submitted it or are considering submitting it.

• Resignation letters (submitted, then reconsidered; we have the original)
• Unsent emails
• Business plans for businesses that were not started
• Apology letters (sent and unsent)
• Manifestos
• The first three chapters of novels
• Receipts
• Evidence
• Formal complaints addressed to no one in particular
• Grocery lists from 2019
• Contracts (personal, professional, and philosophical)
• Tax documents (we are not a tax service; we are aware of the distinction; we file the documents anyway)

On retrieval: We do not offer retrieval. This is not a limitation we are working to resolve. It is a feature of the service. You send us a document. We file it. The document is now filed. That is the complete transaction.

We are asked, occasionally, whether a document could be retrieved in an emergency. The answer is no. We are asked to define emergency. We decline to define it, because the definition would not change the answer.
